Happy 2012. A new year begin with new resolution.

Wish myself throughout the whole year goes smooth same goes to everyone.

Rais asked to do photoshoot with his new lense that he bought. Had the photoshoot at Port Dickson. Vivian and Ben tag along. The journey to Port Dickson take two hours (cause we took old road in order to avoid toll). What the heck, right? So cheapskate. In fact, Vivian had to get something from her mum's clients in Sepang.

Reach Port Dickson around 6pm. The weather was sunny yet stuffy. It's good for photoshoot under this kind of weather according to Rais. The whole photoshoot thingy took about an hour. Well, everyone did enjoyed but Rais got attacked by headache due to hot weather.

It's one of the famous food located at the road side. The whole theme in the cafe is cowboy. The dish was nice, juicy but it does not fill up my hungry stomach same goes to others.

After dinner, we sent Vivian back to Seremban and chilled out at her house before heading back to Cyber.

Hadramawt, Chulan Square KL

Jay aka Jeeva and me went to Hadramawt which is located at Chulan Square for dinner. I saw this advertisement at Groupon which offered 4 course of Middle Eastern Meal + Free Flow Ice lemon Tea + Arabic Mint Tea at RM35.

Arabic Salad; sweet and sour salad.

Chicken Kebab; Grilled mixture of minced chicken and seasoning ingredient. Served with french fries, garlic sauce and grilled bread.

Lamb Kebab; Grilled mixture of minced lamb, fat lamb, and seasoning ingredient. Served with french fries, garlic sauce and grilled bread.

Dessert; Milk with Rice (rice boiled in milk, sweetened with sugar and rose water) and Tamriah (crispy biscuit with peanut topping).

I love the milk with rice dessert and the aroma too. The dessert melt in your mouth with the rose water aroma. I can't eat Tamriah (I'm allergic to peanut) so gave it to Jay to finished up.

BoonEng's Wedding Lunch

Last two week Saturday went to attend my coursemate wedding lunch at V Garden Restaurant, Klang which is located beside Dewan Perhimpunan Hokkien. A sudden announcement she told us that she was going to married to due to demise of her husband's grandfather. Among our gang, she was the first who got married.

Me and Inoki aka SiewYeng. She came down from Singapore to Cyber after off duty. She stayed over at my place. Hope she don't get boring thou :P

Next day get prepared to dressed up to attend the wedding lunch. Set the GPS but the GPS fooled us, it brought us to four roundabout. In the end it brought us back to the same destination which is still in Cyber. What the heck =.= So followed the signboard and recalled the direction that my friend told me. Reach there about 1.30pm. Officially start at 2pm but delay till 3pm. At the registration counter, they gave a memento (wedding pictures of bride and groom).

Rais, Jeeva, Vivian and me went to this restaurant; Ristorante Italiano CAPRICCIOSA Pasta and Pizza at Pavilion. Capricciosa is the first Italian food craze from Japan since 1978. Their outlet at Sunway Piramid, Pavilion and Subang Parade.

Soup of the Day; Creamy Pumpkin Soup. Rich pumpkin yet creamy.

Fettuccine with Chicken and Mushrooms in Alfredo Sauce. Simple Fettuccine yet a little pricey.

Capricciosa; beef bacon, beef pepporoni, mushrooms and bell peppers.

It's nice but still prefer Pizza Pizza

Pollo Piccante; chicken, sun-dried tomatos, onions and chilli.

Taste weird with the chilli as a topping.Without chilli is much better.

After had our dinner, we walked around Pavilion where you can see people dressed up in their Halloween outfits. Not enough ten minutes, we had to go back cause there are fighting havoc on.

Tarbush Restaurant, Sunway Pyramid

Finally gathering were successfully made. We did try to gather on a certain date but it was failed. Noreen from Melacca, BoonEng from JB, SiewYeng from Singapore and Eunice from Pahang (recently work in KL) came to Sunway where we gather. Supposingly meet up at 12pm but then changes came where Noreen will be reaching at 3.30pm, Eunice at 4.30pm, BoonEng Samuel and ChangThean at 7pm. So I suggested few restaurant where Tarbush are included. I'm kinda afraid whether do they actually eat this kind of food. To make sure what Tarbush Restaurant served, I bought them to the restaurant to see the menu. Guess what they said; anything, can give a try :)

Normally Arabian or Iranian or Middle East people eat red meat more; lamb. Garlic and olive oil are normally seasoned by lemon juice which are typical flavors found in Arabian or Lebanese diet. Well, most of the food are grilled, baked or sauteed in olive oil. Vegetables and pickled are eaten raw unlike in Malaysia where we cooked our vegetables. In the Biryani rice or normal rice, there are herbs and spices in it where it is commonly see.

Tarbush Restaurant are available at Starhill, Bukit Bintang, Sunway Pyramid, Penang and Singapore.

The Environment of Tarbush Restaurant.

Mazze II; Combination of Hommus, Mutabal, Arabic Salad, Tabouleh, Falafel and Kibbeh.

It's an appetizer served in one plate. I love the salad and the salad dressing. Served with pita (bread).

Mix Grill with White Rice; Sreamed Basmati Rice served with chicken cubes and lamb cubes with garlic topping to dip in. Love the garlic dip with chicken and lamb.

Mixed Grill; Shish Tawook, Shish Kebab, Lamb Cubes and Grill Prawns.

Biryani Chicken; Biryani rice served with half baked chicken and cold curry. The combination between the two gravy makes perfect as a topping.

Coffee.

Eddie (Noreen's bf ) having it due to tiredness while others having Mango Lassi (fruit yogurt) except me having watermelon juice.

Cream Caramel; one of Tarbush's familiar dessert. Just a normal Caramel PPudding. When it served to us, the pudding was lost in shape.

Mahalabia; Milk cream pudding garnished with chopped pistachio.

You can felt the milk cream pudding melted in your mouth with the pistachio taste. Temptation! This dessert is on of Tarbush signature dessert. Recommended***

At last after three months of progress in running the event, the day had finally came.

Well, it was sounded an easy event thou but during the progress of collaboration you face problems. It was not a success event because in the middle of the event, there are changes of plan; out of drinks, sound system problem etc. Our lecturer, Miss.Azira do join us same goes to Jay and Haniyeh (Maraneh's sis). Got a compliments from homeless that the food are awesome (I'm glad you guys enjoy it).

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Tokyo Street, Pavilion

Although I can't eat but I can't help myself especially come to Cawanmushi. Damn it! It was really smooth compare the other Cawanmushi I had. Damn smooth. Yea, I do wanna to order another cup ;)

Fried Glutinous Rice. Look like a simple fried rice but you will crave for more.

Fabolous char-siew pork. Marinated pork, it do had little salty brings out when you chewed it.

Komi-Tamago (Favoured Boiled Egg).

I don't know how does it taste but according to Cynthia and Colbert it has little crispy and some herb absorbed into the eggs.

Chicken Gyoza (Chicken Dumpling). Crispy and heaven! Recommended dish.

Shio Ramen (Salt Flavour)

It's s classic ramen with simple soup base savored with fabulous char-siew pork. Heavenly! It is salty soup based. Still salty but not very-the-salty like the other day I had it.

Shimino (Japanese Crepes)

Shimino is a french delight in a Japanese twist. You can see lots of varieties that offer sweet, savory and crispy creeps with fruity flavor combination; kiwi, mango, strawberry etc and adding ice-cream, honey, as topping.

Mochi Sweet.

Mochi is a traditional food in Japanese New Year. Japanese rice cake made of glutinous flour. It is now known as dessert. This Mochi is different than we had normally; specially prepared from ingredients flown and it kept at -20degrees Celsius. Mochi served after 10-15minutes.

Revisit to Monte's Restaurant & Wine Bar. A sudden crave for escargot, just a snap of fingertip; Monte appear in my mind where they do have a heavy temptation craving and homely environment :) Unfortunately, I had flu on that day and which it's even worst due to the freezy cold (air-conds) environment in restaurant, it was a disaster which ruin my mood to eat.

Escargot; baked and basted in Chablis and Garlic sauce. Heaven tempting! Loving it!

Perfect to dip bread with the sauce.

Nachos; topped with chicken pieces, curry potato and a thick layer of cheese dip with either salad or cream cheesy type.

Carrot and Pumpkin Soup; Fresh creamy soup. Perfect combination soup. It's alluring.

Hot Chocolate.

Peppermint Lamb; Caramelized lamb with pepper and mint sauce on a bed of broccoli, carrots and potato.

I love the peppermint combination!

Mushroom Chicken; accompanied with herbed rice and vegetables. Not bad thou.

Volunteer Work, Masjid Jamek - Part 4

It's been a month work as volunteer. Ammar gave a ride so I just joined. Jay tagged along as well. Look what I had found! His car got Angry Bird. This time Miss.Azira (lecturer) and Azri joined for the volunteer work. Azri became photographer of the night. That night I do get answer for the upcoming event which I was unclear about it. So I have to pray for the success of the event which is about a month to go.

Dennis brought me to Monte Restaurant & Wine Bar which is located at Bangsar Shopping Centre. The environment is spacious and homey type but the air-cond is very cool.

Bread with Butter.

Suppose breads are dip with Escargot sauce but I'm just too hungry, couldn't help myself.

Nachos; topped with chicken pieces, curry potato and a thick layer of cheese dip with either salad or cream cheesy type.

Escargot; baked and basted in Chablis and Garlic sauce.
It was just perfect combination, heaven tempting! Loving it. Perfect to dip your bread with the sauce.

Prawns and Pan Grilled Fish Combo; Caramelized tomato prawns with grilled fish fillet.
I love the tomato sauce cooked with prawns and grilled fish. It is one of the recommendation dish.

Spaghetti Vongole; With clams, chilli and garlic in clear sauce.

I don't really like it but I prefer Spaghetti Vongole at Bel Pasto, Aman Puri. My bro and I used to go there had our dinner (consider a regular customer).

Cake of The Day. I forgot the what is the cake name but I remembered there are nuts in the cake.

It is sweet, very sweet till I want to puke. (Hope that they can reduce the sugar amount of the cake itself.)

As usual went to volunteer work every Thursday night. So honestly do you get bored of going every Thursday? Well, for sure I am not but I guess others are.

I did charity stuff with my dad before but not homeless. ROM is an eye opener to me. It really do. Before we enter the mosque, gals have to cover their head with scarf. According to Ann, it's mosque rule during fasting month. Before get to helped, we were given a brief on what to do by Ann.

I did approach to homeless people, asked how's your day and how's the food? Apparently, I'm surprised to heard that they talked to me in English. He is Prof (I forgot his name). He talks about politics, Osama etc from A-Z. I was impressed. He did told me last time he don't have home then he came to the Masjid Jamek for food so that he get energy to work and now he is success. Before I asked him why do you come here, he told me even though I have home to stay I still come here to join the crowd and here is more merry. Others homeless people were so grateful and thank to me for the delicious food and they smile, and you automatically smile from your heart. As usual, we pray for blessing before the event ended. After that head to Padi, Cyberjaya for dinner. HUNGRY, man!!!!

After class, we get prepared to go Masjid Jamek Mosque to work as volunteer. Yup, considered to go there every week as we have to collaborate with ROM. Punctual punctual punctual! I just can't believe, we have waited for others as in like 30 - 40minutes?? Sighh.. We had to reached there before 10.45pm. This event ROM collaborate with JAWI which provide them food and movie screening. Funny part is some of my course mate asked me 'what time can I go back' , 'why are we doing these' in front of Datin Seri who is the founder of ROM. I am so awkward! Why you guys asked these kind of question? I know some of them never seen or work in any charity event before. Some of them do tell me it is their first time doing this charity.

Reach Out Malaysia

Been busy recently. Yup, this semester kinda busier compare to last semester. Participate in volunteer-ing which is a charity work, part of group assignment. A big group assignment. Lecturer told to appoint two leaders; local (me) and international (Maraneh). During the first meeting, it was so mess. Everyone was so defensive on their decision, cant have a proper deal, maybe I'm suck at controlling or dealing with people. In the end, we had concluded to work out with Reach Out Malaysia (ROM). ROM distribute food to homeless people or street people and bring them back into society where they have been neglected. Check their website: Reach Out Malaysia (ROM). Our first visit to ROM where is located at Damansara Uptown opposite OCBC Bank is a housing area. There are six of us join the visit; Ali, Shila, Maraneh, Haniyah (Maraneh's sis), Jamal and Lina.

Lina introduced us to Datin Seri, An, Jaja and others volunteer work. So we were assigned to pack the foods. We packed three places; Bus Stand Klang (Nasi Lemak, Water, Roti Boy, Orange and Heat Cream), Pudu (Nasi Lemak, Water, Roti Boy, Orange and Heat Cream) and Midnight Run (Water, Hi5 bun, Orange and Heat Cream).

After packed the food, we had our lunch and there are rules on the table 'Clear the food.' They cooked Nasi Brirani, lamb, cupcakes and kuih. Maraneh told me it was her first time wash bowls and plates. I was like oops. Sorry, guys. At 5pm, we were given a brief about the ROM and the places we were going; Pudu (mainly is Chinese) and Pasar Seni (mainly are mix). We were going separately, Me, Shila, Jamal and Ali went to Pudu while Lina, Maraneh and Haniyah went to Bus Stand Klang.

It's been sometimes I did not see Naughty. When my sis told me, Naughty have changed. I was wondering in what way that Naughty have changed? So during the dinner, my sis showed the picture of Naughty. I was like yeew, my brother 'OMG'. A total change of Naughty. I can't recognize it was Naughty even tough Naughty is beside me. With fur Naughty look like a female, without fur Naughty look like a total male. He is male actually.

Day 4 - Beijing to Malaysia

Last day in Beijing where the hotel is not provided breakfast. You need to pay for breakfast!! So daddy decided to look for breakfast at the street.

School.

Bought some local delicacy.

End up we were here eat not-so-good breakfast where their xiao long pao, wan tan, and tao fu fa is quite funny. Their xiao long pao is dried up, wan tan just a little bit of meat and tau fu fa they added dried chilli with black sauce. Kinda not use to it cause in Malaysia we normally ate noodle or nasi lemak or oat or roti canai as breakfast which is quite fulling to fill in the stomach.

After breakfast, went to Xiu Che Street where you can do shopping for imitation branded, technologies and cloths.

Uncle James bought some GPS stuff, Uncle Nam bought I Phone cover and Uncle Hong bought fake I Phone 32memory with memory card provided which is only 250remibi (China note). Damn cheap. Malvis bought cloths. Dad and me bought nth.

Beef rice, cold noodle, and noodle (the noodle are too soft). Not really good but still eatable.

After chilling out at the cafe, we headed back to hotel and pack our luggage. Needed one and half hour to reach the airport too. I'm so piss off with those China people work. Slow and day dreaming. So tired of lining up those long queue even though there are ten counters. Guess what? Their pc jam. Can you believe it?? PC jam and yet they are using monitor. In fact check in it takes only few minutes. This OMG. Terrible slow man!!

That's the end of the journey from JiNan and Beijing.

Day 3 - TaiSan to Beijing

After breakfast, went to TaiSan Train Station for train back to Beijing which need four hour. This time the train seat is much more comfortable but the bullet train is slow!!

Uncles steal some of the food from hotel. Hahahha.

Here we are Beijing Train Station.

Upon arrival, we went to Tian An Men Square and Forbidden City. Well, we went there last few month ago (March, 2011). Here's the link of the last trip.

This tower is allowed for maids to climb up to see their hometown with Queen's lead. As you know once people work in Palace, they are not allowed to go back to their hometown or go out from the Palace till they die unless they have a special privilege or honor from Queen.

According to the waiter, the correct way to eat duck skin is deep some sugar and eat it. I don't really like it. I prefer just eat it like that.

I love the room concept. You can switch any lights you want.

After bath and rest for an hour, daddy, uncles, Malvis and me walk around the hotel area. Look around see got any food to eat or fruits to buy back to Malaysia.

Spotted a shop which sell 'lai mee' so we ordered 'lai mee' beef soup. It's so GOOD! slurpppp

Day 2 - TaiSan & QiFu

After breakfast, proceed to Qifu where the birthplace of Confucius. It took us an hour to reach Qifu.

As you can see, cars in black colour represent company car or Government car where you can see majority on the road all black in colour.

QiFu.

Town of QiFu.

There are lots of historical monument and cultural relics; temple of Confucius, mansion of Confucius and cemetery of Confucius where these are included in the World Cultural Heritage.

First gate of Confucius temple; The Gate of Supreme Sage Temple. It was built in 1500 or 13th year of Ming Dynasty. Confucius temple have three gates.

Gate of Adaption to Times; Built in 1415 which is 13th year in Ming Dynasty. In1730 (Qing Dynasty), the Emperor renovated and given its present name. Originally, the name was Mencius (mean Confucius is a sage of times).

Christmas tree do actually have flower which is somehow in star shape.

Dazhong Gate; Built in Song Dynasty. It was the entrance gate of Confucius Temple in Northern Song Dynasty. It was rebuild in 13th year of Ming Dynasty.

Chenghua Tablet. It was establish in Ming Dynasty where the inscription made by Emperor Zhu Jianshen. It did its utmost extent among all the tablets of Qifu. The calligraphy was simple, dignified and yet vigorous.

This animal is a combination of dragon, snake, pig and turtle.

Saw the crack? This tombstone has fallen down so the Government patches and join the crack back.

The KuiWen Pavilion. Built in 1018 (Song Dynasty). It has the best wooden pavilions in China.

Saw Uncle Nam lying on the floor? That is how Confucius taught his children if his children disobey or whatever, his children have to kneel down on tat rough floor for a day.

Ancient door were made by woods.

Dacheng Palace. It is a major construction of the temple. It is principal palace for offering sacrifices to Confucius.

According to the tour guide, if you saw the dragon ball, touch it and wish what you want.

The Hall of Poetry and Rites. Built in Song Dynasty. The hall was named to commemorate Confucius' instructing his son, Kong Li to study poetry and rites.

These pictures shows what Confucius did in his entire life; marriage, mothers' death, life, children and his success. That's the end of Confucius Temple.

On the way to Xiao Fei Yang (Little Lamb) had lunch.

We are going to Confucius Tomb.

Sitting in the train tour around the Tomb. According to Daddy, the tomb which have animal stone as a guards which mean they are somebody. To those who pray the tomb only allowed flower and fruits to pray them. No praying material stuff to burn, purpose is to keep the tomb surrounding safe.

The Sacrificial Hall. Built in 1494 (Ming Dynasty). It is used to hold alters of incense and announce the oration delivered to Confucius. In 1950, General Zhu De held an important military meeting.

Confucius's Tomb (551BC-479BC), Confucius was a great philosopher, educationist and founder of Confucianism. He was known as the greatest sage and teacher.

Saw the painting pictures on the wall? This painting was painted by servant. If you walk forward, you can see the less trees in the painting itself. If you walk backward, you can see more tress in the painting itself too. The concept is similar to Mona Lisa. It is amazing painting.

Back to hotel, took a bath and rest before going out for dinner and show.

Day 1 - Beijing to Jinan

Here I come, China. Again!! Haha, I just went there in the month of March. This time is company trip. Dad employee also followed; Uncle James, Nam and Hong. Flight is about six hours to reach the destination. Upon arrival, transfer to Beijing Train Station to JiNan which need three hours to reach JiNan.

Took KLIA Transit to KLIA.

Lunch. Not a good food. Oily, Oily, Oily. Ewwww, terrible oily!!

You can imagine how crowded will it be especially during CNY. Everyone waiting for train to get back to hometown. Every year news (CCTV) reported tickets are sold out, how crowded, people are pushing to get in the train. Well, this is no different with Malaysia here especially you take trains. But it is not as worst as those China people do so. If you have a chance, try it yourself. Haha!!!

Bullet Train ticket.

There are two types; blue and red. Blue is a front row of the coaches and Red is the normal (second row till end of the coaches). It have six coaches.

The seat is not comfortable. Straight seat.

You know wat. I hate those people. Damn noisy. Arghh. Those grandparents can't even ask their grandchild to shut up! Can't even get a good rest. Almost reach JiNan, the grandparents asked the grandchild to take a nap. WTF. Why don't you do it earlier!!

Beef rice. Had meal on train (MOT). The meat is soft, way too soft so it is not good to eat, still eatable. Haha

Reached JiNan Train Station.

JiNan is one of the country side of China. Went to Factory have a visit then proceed to TaiSan where we gonna to stay overnight.

Dad said this hotel room is small compare to JiNan which is bigggg.

Chicken. Injected chicken which cause the meat soft.

Congee (Porridge) with Sea Cucumber. Love this a lot.

Pork Ribs cooked with red dates.

Scallop. Do not know how to taste what is a good and bad scallop.

Fried Fish sesrved sweet sauce. This fish is common cooking in China.

Stir Fried Broccoli.

I don't exactly know what is it. But tasted like sea cucumber.

Lala in bamboo (kind of seafood) served mantao (plain pao).

Vegetables.

Duck tongue cooked with ginko (you will see in any Chinese dessert) and french beans.

Intestine. Overall is good although I don't like the wasabi sauce.

Fried Scallop cooked with french bean and big red bean. Tasted sweet.

This is chicken (chicken elbow) according to waitress.

Vegetables deep in bean curd sauce.

Fungus Mushroom. Just a little salty.

Vegetables with bacon.

Common soup you will find it in every restaurant. Egg soup.

After dinner, head back to hotel have a good sleep. Damn tired! Total hour to reach destination is 12hour!

Well, it is a small restaurant after-all, cozy environment and lights are dimmed. This is restaurant do served porks and others dishes such as seafood and lambs but their signature dishes are porks.

Hot Chocolate.

Escargots.

I don't know what is a good escargots cause I really don't know. But this escargots baked in sweet smiling garlic which is quite strong and herb cream served with toast. I prefer without the toast.

Riblees Caesar: lettuce, croutons, own caesar dressing, parmesan cheese with smoked salmon.

Mushroom Soup. I prefer the one that I had in D'Italian Kitchen at Sunway Giza. Everything is ok but just watery type...

Lamb; lamb meat cook perfectly with the sauce served with salad and mini potatoes.

Bourbon Glazed Ribs; Ribs cooked with special bourbon sauce charbroiled perfect served with corn, cinnamon apple and pigtail fries. I love the combination of the ribs and the sauce!!

Well, CC informed me that we are going to have dinner at Shasha place but I have to dress nice. I was like huh? I planned to wear t-shirt and shorts. It takes turn whoever took the knife till the knife pass it to the Birthday guy or gal. When Aza dance, my eye stared like a pervert guy looking at this bloody hot lady's body. Same goes to Loshini. Loshini and me was like wow, what a sexy dance she had danced that night.

Day 5 - Beijing

Last day in Beijing. Before we went to TianJian knowns as street market (where you can see varieties of foods and sweets and dried seafood), we went to Pearl Shop and Knife Shop (where this place you cannot missed it as well).

Hospital.

Here we are TianJian street market. We bought some tit-bits as souvenir, buy some food delicacy to eat and walk around the street market. We had our lunch before moving to the airport. Time to say goodbye to them. And yet, China people really damn no manners! Can't they queue up, why must you jump queue, your teacher did not teach you what is manner?? Aiksssss people people.. That's the end of the story in Beijing :)

Day 4 - Beijing

Next morning, we head to another palace. I forgot what is the palace name as I am not paying attention to the tour guide giving a brief about the palace.

Ancient Chinese Writing.

Blossom Flower. In the palace, there is a big rock which bring mis-fortunate luck as long as you keep the rock. Tour guide will not allow us to take which believe it bring disaster luck. According to the tour guide, there is once wealthy man fond this rock and bring back home. Later on, his business getting worst goes to brankcrupt, family health getting weak and so on. So the wealthy man invite the fortunate teller to check the house fungsui. The fortunate teller told the rock brings bad luck so the wealthy man throw the rock away and his business and family health back to normal.

Next Destination: Stadium Olympic. It is a good place to fly kites. It is windy.

Next destination: Silk Shop where you will not miss it.It's kinda MUST in every China you have visited.

Next destination: Shopping Mall where you can find anything you want. They do sell branded stuff but it's fake. I don't really like the way they sell cause they are terrible RUDE!. As you pass by their stall, you can hear those voices shouting here and there to attract customer. If you are unlucky, they will simply put the stuff around your arm, or pull your hand to buy it or stuff the things in your pocket. You might not know cause this is how China people deal business. They use FORCE to make the business deal. And there are RUDE people.

Next destination: Dinner (our own expenses).

Day 3 -Beijing

Had breakfast as usual in mantao (Chinese Steam Bun), noodle, vegetables, porridge served with salted vegetables and Chinese teas. It is quite boring with these breakfast.

Before I get myself some sleep, I able to take a few of amazing building design. What an amazing idea of architecture.

Shopping Mall.

Next Destination: Great Wall of China.

It is one of the greatest wonders of the world. In 1987, it was listed as a World Heritage given by UNESCO. The design like a gigantic dragon and the winds blow up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus. It was 8,851.8 kilometers long which is 5,500 miles from east to west of China. Great Wall of China have more than 2000years. It was build during Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 which is 476BC - 221BC.

I'm really really amazed how ancient people able to build 5,500 miles that long! I'm was stun. I am really.

There are some parts of the wall has gone in shape or disappeared where the Government using semen to close the patches. Does the wonder building around the world manage to maintain it? In Cambodia, there are trying to fix it using semen but no matter how, the design of the building yet still can't be copied exactly the same. Last time ancient people use sand and water to build it up, now in modern generation use semen. Also, Government of Cambodia trying to fix the building which had collapsed. It is normal that the building collapse due to the weather changes. And yet it is somehow Great Wall of China do still appeal tourist attractions.

It is quite tiring climbing up the stairs. The stair was 90 degree same as the one I went to Cambodia. But Great Wall of China is better, at least they have a staircase hanger for you to hold while you climb up. I remember I went to Cambodia I climb like a monkey cause the stair is way too steep. That time I having fear to climb up. Scary... It is quite windy and cold. Dad, sis, bro and me manage to climb till half of the Tower2 where we are about to reach Tower3. Lucky, I don't feel my leg muscle pain or tighten. I had this feeling when I went to Cambodia. It is really pain @.@

Next Destination: Lunch time!! Everyone was so hungry. I guess all the fats have burned when we climb the Great Wall of China.

Next Destination: Tea Shop. Normally, Chinese people have a practice that after had your meal, we will drink tea for digestion. In another words, they believe tea can wash your fats oil.

Next Destination: Nine Bar Street. Before we came to this destination, we went for foot massage. This is another tradition in China.

The whole street is bar where this is the only night life in China you can found.

Jia Jia Mian - This noodle originated from Korea. Recommended from the tour guide.

Sis bought a yogurt milk and it is delicious. Nice to drink while it is served hot.

My brother bought a worm. Fried worm and try it. I put the fried worm in my mouth, then I chew it then when I want to swallow it, I vomit it out. The tourist (Australian I think) saw i vomit the fried worm and decided not to buy anymore. It is so awful. How can they eat reptilians, insects and etc. What a food!!

Day 2 - Beijing

Early in the morning, we went to visit Tiananmen Square (means Gate of Heavenly Peace) known as Forbidden City. It is an enormous palace, largest square and rectangle plaza in the center of Beijing. The Imperial Palace was occupied for three dynasties. The weather was cool breezy and yet windy. It's so cold!!

This is a hall where the King and the congress have meeting.

I'm amazed with the palace design and architectural on how ancient people build it where they dun have tractor to bring up the materials to the top.

This is a place where you came out from the palace and you will saw a picture of a man whom is the first Prime Minister in China.

Next destination: Panda. It's a MUST place to visit when you arrive in Beijing.

Next destination: Capital Muzeum. There are five levels in the building. Each level represent different things.

In the museum, you can learn each dynasties lead to different lifestyle or usage of bowls, spoon, plates, beds and so forth.

This is 'bing tang wu lu'. It is one of the famous sweet in Beijing. It can be fruits or red date dip in a honey and dry it and you are ready to eat.

Next destination: Stadium of Opera. It is an egg design where the half of the egg deep inside the water.

Day 1 - Beijing

A very late late post. My family, uncle, aunt and me went to Beijing. Flight is at 9am and reached Tianjian around in the evening and tour guide bring us to Beijing. The journey from TianJian to Beijing is about one and half hour if I'm not mistaken. The tour guide have to separate into 3groups as there are 90 of us. Each group will lead by a tour guide.

We reach Beijing is almost in the evening.Tour guide brought us to dinner; Blue-White Porcelain Buffet (buffet dinner) - given an hour.

It is a Chinese-based-buffet.

After dinner, we went to National grand Theater which is known as National Center for Performing Arts. Whenever you go holiday in China, you will be watching Theater show. It is so-so only. I do prefer the 3D show in China the last trip I had went. It was spectacular.

After the show, we were proceed to the hotel. On the way to hotel, you can see the night view of Beijing was quiet. Dad asked who want to walk around outside. My siblings and me answered ME. Dad stopped by a fruit stall and satay stall. We brought a few.

This post suppose to be posted a month ago due to my laziness and busy-ness XD. There is always a change of plan whenever comes for lunch or dinner. It is as usual as always. My sis and I decided to try Outback Steakhouse at Bangsar. But it did not happen. We stopped by an ambiguous and cozy environment Spanish Restaurant - El Meson (Click on it). It is located just opposite the New Wing Bangsar Village. So we decided to give it a try and guess what. The food is awesome. Best appetizer, and main course. We did not order dessert cause we are damn full. My sis and I cant stop resisting the delicious of the food. Keep comment 'It is so goood', 'Perfect', 'OMG, it's so good'. Haha..... The food is really damn GOOD!!

First Appetizer: Hot Tapas - Bread serve with butter and mushroom.

You can either eat with the butter (You can felt the butter melt in your mouth instantly) or the mushroom (I still can't forget the taste of the mushroom, Perfectly Heaven)

Second Appetizer: Cold Tapas - It is a mixture of ham, cheese, nuts, etc. I forgot the name of the dish. But this dish is highly recommended. Awesome dishes~

Third Appetizer: Cold Tapas - Goat's Cheese Salad served with organic baby spinach, rocket, walnuts and honey dressing. Must try. Perfect Combination.

Main Course: Black Pig (without camera flash). Sounds funny, so I ordered. Well, it is no difference. The taste is just a normal pork I had. The cooking is normal but I'm tired of bite-ing (all is pork). Perfectly well.

Main Course: Black Rice served with dried shrimp, squid and onion. I have no idea how the black rice form into. Does black rice really exist or they just put colouring??? I love this than the Black Pig dishes.

Pizza Americano. Recommended by the waiter there. So cheesy, tempting, allure, attractive, etc.. Haha.

I was nearly forgot about this post. This post was during my semester break (working). I reach office early and drive along the Puchong shop lots and I spotted Hon Kee Porridge branch. So I stopped in front of the shops and walk in to had my breakfast. Guess what? They do have website; Hon Kee Porridge. Interesting.

Menu - have lots of things to eat (porridge, dessert, nasi lemak, chee cheong fun etc).

Ordered a fish porridge. Slices raw fish.

Plain porridge.

Add the fish into the plain porridge, stir it. You will see the fish are cooked and you are ready to eat. Tastes is the same if you have it in Petaling Street. Now they have branches in Damansara Uptown, Lot 10, Bandar Puteri Puchong, USJ, and Kepong Metro Perdana.

Last two days ago, Maraneh organize a gathering at Sunway. Maybe it's Persian's culture, they take turns to treat all of us. Before semester break, Kamran treat us now Maraneh treat. In near present, don't know yet. Haha. It is great to hang out with you guys.
